2021

Our controlled local vineyard.

Across all our vineyards the vines are trained on VSP and double-cordon Guyot systems. Set at varying elevations — from sea level up to 400 metres — our parcels are defined by a largely salt-free, clay-limestone soil.

We work with nine grape varieties in all. Five are international — Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Viognier and Chardonnay; four are native — Foça Karası, Öküzgözü, Urla Karası and Bornova Misketi.

On the Urla Peninsula, where the wind scarcely rests all year, we draw on a range of microclimates to craft wines that carry each variety’s character while expressing the terroir with quiet force.
